Essential oil packaging, glass or plastic?

When it comes to storing essential oils, it's important to choose the right container to ensure the oil stays fresh and retains its vitality, so should you choose a plastic container or a glass container?

My answer is: GLASS

Stable properties: essential oils are highly concentrated liquids, and their pH is generally acidic. Glass is very stable against acids and bases, so it won't react with oils or affect their chemical composition. Plastic bottles, for essential oils with a too high pH value, are likely to have a chemical reaction with them, resulting in the loss of the therapeutic properties of the essential oils.

Keep essential oils fresh for a long time: Due to their stable chemical properties, good sealing environment and light-proof properties, essential oils in glass bottles have a longer shelf life compared to essential oils in plastic bottles

Environmentally Friendly: Compared with plastic bottles, glass bottles are more environmentally friendly. Glass is recyclable, and the recycling process uses less energy and generates less waste than the recycling of plastic bottles.
