Some of the knowledge you need to know about custom paper boxes
What is CMYK?
Printing four-color separation mode (CMYK) is a color registration mode used in color printing
C: Cyan = Cyan color
M: Magenta = Magenta
Y: Yellow = yellow
K: blacK = black
The computer display screen is a luminous body, which follows the principle of the RGB three-primary color light mode
The printing is CMY+K ink or ink overprinting and color mixing, which follows the principle of three primary colors of CMY color materials
CMYK only has 101³+101, a total of 1,030,402 colors, while RGB has 256³, a total of 16,777,216 colors. Therefore, the actual color space formed by CMYK printing is also smaller than RGB, so the color of the finished product cannot be output according to the colors seen on the screen during printing. There will be a certain degree of color difference. Generally speaking, the printed color will not be as bright as the color on the screen, so if you need more accurate colors, you will use Pantone color cards at this time
So what is Pantone Color Card?
Pantone color card (PANTONE) color card is an international standard color card. PANTONE color card is a world-renowned color authority, covering color communication systems in printing, textiles, plastics, graphics, digital technology and other fields, and has become an internationally unified standard language for exchanging color information today. Each color sample in the Pantone color card has a label, and has the ink dot ratio or ink formula of the color sample, so when you want to print a spot color, you can choose the Pantone color number.
